Updating group policies
Every now and then Microsoft releases a new operating system and if you are in a domain environment you should be interested in manage your new (and old) computer via Group Polices.
To manage your computer you need either the target operating system version (or later) with RSAT (Remote Server Administrative Tools) or equivalent server operating system to be able to see and configure all features.
However, an administrator can still configure Automatic Updates through Control Panel.
My Question, and forgive me for putting it here, I had no idea where else to put it, I thought about tutorials, but I know this... Whenever I check Windows Update, I get a message that says "Windows Update cannot currently check for updates, because updates on this computer are controlled by your system administrator". "Windows 7" and related materials are trademarks of Microsoft Corp.To access it; press the Windows R keys to access the Run dialog. On the Local Group Policy Editor windows, navigate to Computer Configuration Windows Updates.
